"And Obed-edom had sons: Shemaiah the first-born, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth," — 1 Chronicles 26:4 (ASV)

Moreover the sons of Obed-edom. — And Obed-edom had sons. Obed-edom (1 Chronicles 15:24) is called a son of Jeduthun in 1 Chronicles 16:38. This Jeduthun was not the Merarite chief musician, but a Korhite. (Compare 1 Chronicles 26:1; 1 Chronicles 26:10; 1 Chronicles 26:19.)
