SCRIPTURE
"and at Bethuel, and at Hormah, and at Ziklag," — 1 Chronicles 4:30 (ASV)
Bethuel. —Called Chesil in Joshua 15:30; Joshua 19:4 has Bethûl, a contraction like Hamul for Hamuel (1 Chronicles 4:26; compare to 1 Chronicles 2:5).
Hormah. —The ancient Zephath (Judges 1:17), now Sepata.
Ziklag. —Now Kasluj, east of Sepata (Joshua 15:30–31; 1 Samuel 27:6).
