Charles Ellicott Commentary 1 Chronicles 7:32-34

"And Heber begat Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, and Shua their sister. And the sons of Japhlet: Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashvath. These are the children of Japhlet. And the sons of Shemer: Ahi, and Rohgah, Jehubbah, and Aram." — 1 Chronicles 7:32-34 (ASV)

The race of Heber (spelt differently from Heber, Abraham’s ancestor). Nothing is known of any of these families. The name Japhleti (the Japhletite) occurs as a clan (Joshua 16:3), but far away from the bounds of Asher.
