"Some of them also were appointed over the furniture, and over all the vessels of the sanctuary, and over the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices." — 1 Chronicles 9:29 (ASV)

Care of the ordinary vessels; that is, all those which were used in the daily service of the sanctuary (“vessels ... instruments:” the same Hebrew term, kélîm, vasa, σκεύη); as well as supervision of the stores of flour, wine, oil, incense, and spices, which were adjuncts of meat offerings and libations, and the holy unguents (Exodus 25:6).
