"but unto them that are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God." — 1 Corinthians 1:24 (ASV)

Them which are called.—St. Paul always speaks of all Christians as “the called,” not using that word in the narrower sense to which some modern religious sects have restricted it.
