"and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits; to another [divers] kinds of tongues; and to another the interpretation of tongues:" — 1 Corinthians 12:10 (ASV)

Prophecy.—Not in its modern and limited sense of foretelling the future, but forthtelling truth generally.

Discerning of spirits—that is, the power to distinguish between the workings of the Holy Spirit and of evil and misleading spirits (see 1 Timothy 4:1; 1 John 4:1). On the gifts of tongues and interpretations of tongues, see 1 Corinthians 14.
