"but brother goeth to law with brother, and that before unbelievers?" — 1 Corinthians 6:6 (ASV)
But brother goes to law with brother.—“It would almost seem as if it were not so. Your dragging these disputes before tribunals of unbelievers would imply that it is not possible to find a Christian friend whom you can trust to settle these trivial disputes.” Thus the Apostle answers his question of the previous verse.
