"Now therefore, behold, Jehovah hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets; and Jehovah hath spoken evil concerning thee." — 1 Kings 22:23 (ASV)

The Lord ... the Lord. —The emphatic repetition of the Name Jehovah here is an implied answer to the insinuation of mere malice in 1 Kings 22:8, 18.
