Charles Ellicott Commentary 1 Kings 22:28

"And Micaiah said, If thou return at all in peace, Jehovah hath not spoken by me. And he said, Hear, ye peoples, all of you." — 1 Kings 22:28 (ASV)

Listen, O people. —It is a curious coincidence that these are the opening words of the prophetic Book of Micah. They are not found in some manuscripts of the Septuagint, and are supposed by some to be an early interpolation in this passage from that book.
