Charles Ellicott Commentary 2 Chronicles 19:9

"And he charged them, saying, Thus shall ye do in the fear of Jehovah, faithfully, and with a perfect heart." — 2 Chronicles 19:9 (ASV)

Thus. —That is, as 2 Chronicles 19:10 explains.

Them. —The members of the Superior Court; just as the ordinary judges had been charged (2 Chronicles 19:6–7).

Perfect heart. —That is, integrity. (See 2 Chronicles 15:17; 2 Chronicles 16:9).
