"behold, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou hast given us to inherit." — 2 Chronicles 20:11 (ASV)

Behold, I say, how they reward us. —Literally, and behold they are repaying us by coming, etc. .

Cast. —Drive out (Genesis 3:24).

Thy possession. —The Promised Land is so called nowhere else in the Old Testament.

Thou hast given us to inherit. —Made us possess. .
