"And all Judah stood before Jehovah, with their little ones, their wives, and their children." — 2 Chronicles 20:13 (ASV)

Stood. — Were standing.

Before the Lord — i.e., praying with their king. (Compare to the apparent reference to this assembly in Psalms 48:9. We thought upon Thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of Thy Temple.)
