SCRIPTURE

"Moreover all the vessels, which king Ahaz in his reign did cast away when he trespassed, have we prepared and sanctified; and, behold, they are before the altar of Jehovah." — 2 Chronicles 29:19 (ASV)

Cast away. —The same word as “cast off” in 2 Chronicles 11:14. The vessels so treated were the brazen altar, the brazen sea, and the lavers on the stands (2 Kings 16:14; 2 Kings 16:17).
