"Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O Jehovah my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer which thy servant prayeth before thee;" — 2 Chronicles 6:19 (ASV)

Have respect therefore. — But turn you to. The Authorized Version follows the Septuagint and Vulgate, (ἐπιβλέψῃ); “ut respicias.”

Before you. — Kings adds, “to-day.” So the Septuagint, Syriac, and Arabic here.
