"And they brought horses for Solomon out of Egypt, and out of all lands." — 2 Chronicles 9:28 (ASV)

And they brought. — Used to bring. The verse summarizes 1 Kings 10:28–29 (compare 2 Chronicles 1:16–17) and adds that Solomon imported horses out of all the lands, as well as from Egypt.
