SCRIPTURE

"And Hezekiah prayed before Jehovah, and said, O Jehovah, the God of Israel, that sittest [above] the cherubim, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth." — 2 Kings 19:15 (ASV)

Which dwellest between the cherubims. —Rather, who sits above the cherubim, or, the cherub-throned. (1 Samuel 4:4; Psalms 18:10; Ezekiel 1:26.)

Thou art the God. —With emphasis on Thou. You are the true God, You alone, to all the kingdoms, etc.

Thou hast made. You it was who made. The thought is, And therefore You are—the only God for all the kingdoms (compare to Isaiah 40:18 and following), and “the only ruler of princes.”
