"Whom hast thou defied and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice and lifted up thine eyes on high? [even] against the Holy One of Israel." — 2 Kings 19:22 (ASV)

On high — that is, towards heaven (Isaiah 40:26). .

The Holy One of Israel. — A favorite expression of Isaiah’s, in whose book it occurs twenty-seven times, and only five times elsewhere in the Old Testament (Psalms 71:22; Psalms 78:41; Psalms 89:19; Jeremiah 50:29; Jeremiah 51:5).
