Charles Ellicott Commentary 2 Kings 25:13

"And the pillars of brass that were in the house of Jehovah, and the bases and the brazen sea that were in the house of Jehovah, did the Chaldeans break in pieces, and carried the brass of them to Babylon." — 2 Kings 25:13 (ASV)

And the pillars of brass. —From this point Jeremiah 39:0 ceases to be parallel with the present narrative. (See the Notes on 1 Kings 7:15 and following, for the objects enumerated in this and the following verses.) Instead of “brass” we should probably understand copper throughout.
