"and that he may send the Christ who hath been appointed for you, [even] Jesus:" — Acts 3:20 (ASV)

And he shall send Jesus Christ.—Better, as before, and that He may send.

Which before was preached unto you.—The better manuscripts have, which was fore-appointed, or fore-ordained, for you.
