"Behold, Jehovah thy God hath set the land before thee: go up, take possession, as Jehovah, the God of thy fathers, hath spoken unto thee; fear not, neither be dismayed." — Deuteronomy 1:21 (ASV)

Fear not, neither be discouraged. —The last clause of this verse reappears in John 14:27: Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
