"And Jehovah said unto me, Arise, take thy journey before the people; and they shall go in and possess the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give unto them." — Deuteronomy 10:11 (ASV)

And the Lord said to me, Arise, take your journey before the people, that they may go in. —“Although you had turned aside from following Him, and had erred in the (matter of the) calf, He said to me, Go, lead the people” (Rashi).
