"for ye are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which Jehovah thy God giveth thee." — Deuteronomy 12:9 (ASV)

You have not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance. —Nor would the passage of Jordan and the conquest of Joshua bring them to it.
