"And he will bring upon thee again all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee." — Deuteronomy 28:60 (ASV)

The diseases of Egypt, which you were afraid of. —Contrast Exodus 15:26. If you will diligently listen to the voice of Jehovah ... I will put none of these diseases of Egypt which you know, upon you; for I am Jehovah, who heals you. But, on the other hand, it is said (Ezekiel 7:9), You shall know that I am Jehovah who smites. Jehovah-Rophêka and Jehovah-Makkeh are one Jehovah.
