"Yet they are thy people and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest out by thy great power and by thine outstretched arm." — Deuteronomy 9:29 (ASV)

Your people ... which you brought out. —So Exodus 32:11. It is noticeable that God said to Moses, “Your people which you brought out ... have corrupted themselves” (Exodus 32:7). Moses said, “Lord, why does your wrath wax hot against your people which you have brought forth?”
