"And thou shalt make upon the breastplate chains like cords, of wreathen work of pure gold." — Exodus 28:22 (ASV)

Chains at the ends. —Rather, chains of equal length; or, chains of wreathen work. (See Note on Exodus 28:14.)

Of wreathen work. —Hebrew, after the manner of ropes.
