Charles Ellicott Commentary Exodus 38:28

"And of the thousand seven hundred seventy and five [shekels] he made hooks for the pillars, and overlaid their capitals, and made fillets for them." — Exodus 38:28 (ASV)

Hooks for the pillars. — The pillars of the court had hooks of silver, to which the hangings were attached (Exodus 27:10, Exodus 27:17, Exodus 38:10–12).
