Charles Ellicott Commentary Ezekiel 11:17

"Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will gather you from the peoples, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel." — Ezekiel 11:17 (ASV)

I will give you the land of Israel.—Again in contrast to the people of Jerusalem, who claimed the land as their own exclusive possession. They will be cast out; the exiles whom they despised will be gathered again and possess the land. (Compare to Numbers 14:3 and Numbers 14:31-32, where, when the people refused the divine command to take possession of the land, and feared that their little ones should be a prey, the doom came that they all should perish in the wilderness, but their little ones should inherit the land.)
