SCRIPTURE

"that thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more, because of thy shame, when I have forgiven thee all that thou hast done, saith the Lord Jehovah." — Ezekiel 16:63 (ASV)

Pacified toward you— Better, when I pardon you. The original word is the one used technically in the law for the atonement or “covering up” of sins; and the thought is, when God will forgive the sins of His people, and receive them to communion with Himself.
