"And the hand of Jehovah was there upon me; and he said unto me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with thee." — Ezekiel 3:22 (ASV)

The hand of the Lord was there upon me. — The prophet’s week of silent meditation having passed, and the charge of responsibility given, the constraining power of God again comes upon him and sends him forth to the final act of preparation for his work.
