"And the doors had two leaves [apiece], two turning leaves: two [leaves] for the one door, and two leaves for the other." — Ezekiel 41:24 (ASV)

Two turning leaves.— The doors both of the Holy Place and of the Holy of Holies are more fully described in 1 Kings 6:31–35. It is to be understood that each of them was made in two parts, and each part again in two leaves folding back, so that there were in all four leaves in each door.
