SCRIPTURE

"Thou shalt also take the bullock of the sin-offering, and it shall be burnt in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary." — Ezekiel 43:21 (ASV)

Burn it in the appointed place. The flesh of the ordinary sin offerings was to be eaten by the priests; but when the victim was a bullock, as in case of a sin offering for the high priest (Leviticus 4:3; Leviticus 4:11–12), or for the whole congregation (Leviticus 4:13; Leviticus 4:20), it was to be burned without the camp. Here it is to be burned in the appointed place of the house, and yet without the sanctuary, or Temple building itself; it must, therefore, have been in the building described in Ezekiel 41:12.
