SCRIPTURE

"But now faith that is come, we are no longer under a tutor." — Galatians 3:25 (ASV)

But now the Law has been exchanged for the dispensation of faith. From now on, the old state of tutelage is at an end. We are no longer like children, but adult members of the divine family—sons of God.

We have entered into this relationship by faith in Christ. For to be baptized into Christ is to enter into the closest possible relationship with Him. It is to be identified with Him entirely.

No one is excluded. The old barriers of race, status, and even sex are abolished. Through their relationship with Christ, all Christians, as it were, unite to form a single man. They are a body animated by a single personality and will.

And their relationship with Christ marks them as the true descendants of Abraham. In them, the promise of the Messianic blessing is fulfilled.
