"This persuasion [came] not of him that calleth you." — Galatians 5:8 (ASV)

This persuasion . . .—He who calls the Galatians is here, as elsewhere, God; and certainly, the Apostle says, it could not have been by any intimation or guidance from Him that they were led to accept such perverted teaching.
