"And Isaac said unto them, Wherefore are ye come unto me, seeing ye hate me, and have sent me away from you?" — Genesis 26:27 (ASV)

Why do you come to me? —Isaac’s return had brought matters to a crisis, and the king must now decide whether there was to be peace or war.
