Charles Ellicott Commentary Genesis 46:17

"And the sons of Asher: Imnah, and Ishvah, and Ishvi, and Beriah, and Serah their sister; and the sons of Beriah: Heber, and Malchiel." — Genesis 46:17 (ASV)

Asher has four sons and a daughter:

Genesis 46:17: Jimnah, Ishuah, Isui, Beriah. Serah (daughter).

Numbers 26:44–45: Jimna, Isuah, Jesui, Beriah.

1 Chronicles 7:30: Imnah, Ishuai, Jesui, Beriah. Serah (called Sarah in Numbers).

All three sources agree on Beriah’s sons: Heber and Malchiel.
