SCRIPTURE
"Wherefore even the first [covenant] hath not been dedicated without blood." — Hebrews 9:18 (ASV)
Whereupon.—Better, Therefore not even has the first (covenant) been dedicated (or, inaugurated) without blood. (See Exodus 24:6-8.)
