"But as for me, behold, I am in your hand: do with me as is good and right in your eyes." — Jeremiah 26:14 (ASV)
As for me, behold ... —Literally, And I, behold, I am in your hands; and for “as seemeth good and meet unto you,” read in your eyes. The prophet feels himself powerless in the presence of his accusers and judges, and can only appeal to the Judge of all.
