SCRIPTURE

"The pots also, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the basins, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away. And the cups, and the firepans, and the basins, and the pots, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the bowls-that which was of gold, in gold, and that which was of silver, in silver,- the captain of the guard took away. The two pillars, the one sea, and the twelve brazen bulls that were under the bases, which king Solomon had made for the house of Jehovah-the brass of all these vessels was without weight." — Jeremiah 52:18-20 (ASV)

The caldrons also, and the shovels ... — The list in 2 Kings 25:14–16 omits the basins, the caldrons, the candlesticks, and the cups. In Jeremiah 52:15, it gives the definite article in the Hebrew as “the one sea,” and omits “the twelve bronze bulls.”

Strictly speaking, the bases (1 Kings 7:27) were under the ten lavers used for washing the meat for the sacrifices. The twelve bulls (1 Kings 7:25) supported the molten sea, or bigger laver, for the priests’ washings.

2 Kings 16:17 suggests the thought that the bulk of the bronze had been removed by Ahaz and given to Tiglath Pileser, though possibly not taken away by him.
