Charles Ellicott Commentary

Charles Ellicott Commentary
"If I sin, then thou markest me, And thou wilt not acquit me from mine iniquity." — Job 10:14 (ASV)
If I sin ... —“If I had sinned, You would have marked me for punishment, and from my iniquity You would not acquit me. If I had been guilty, woe to me; and if righteous, I must not lift up my head like an innocent person. I am full of shame; therefore, behold my affliction, for only by Your taking note of it can I find relief.”
