"He wandereth abroad for bread, [saying], Where is it? He knoweth that the day of darkness is ready at his hand." — Job 15:23 (ASV)

He wandereth abroad for bread.—This is one of the points in which the picture seems inconsistent, because overdrawn, except that forage as well as plunder may be the object of marauding raids.
