SCRIPTURE

"I have not gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have treasured up the words of his mouth more than my necessary food." — Job 23:12 (ASV)

I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. . Or, I have treasured up the words, etc., according to the statute prescribed to me, or from my own law: that is, “I made it a principle with myself to treasure up the words of His mouth.” The Septuagint and the Vulgate have a differing reading, and render in my bosom.
