"Beware lest ye say, We have found wisdom; God may vanquish him, not man:" — Job 32:13 (ASV)

Lest you should say. —That is, “I resolved to speak, lest you should think yourselves wise, and that God was afflicting him on account of his sins.” God is declaring his guilt in such a way that man’s opinion matters little.
