"Will thy cry avail, [that thou be] not in distress, Or all the forces of [thy] strength?" — Job 36:19 (ASV)
No, not gold, nor all the forces of strength. —The words here are doubtful. Some render, “Will He esteem your riches, that you be not in distress?” or, “all the forces of your strength;” others, “Will your cry avail, that you be not in distress?” etc. but there is authority for the Authorised Version.
