"So that he setteth up on high those that are low, And those that mourn are exalted to safety." — Job 5:11 (ASV)

To set up on high those that be low. —Thus his doctrine is that man’s exaltation must come from God, and not from his own vain strivings. (Compare to Psalms 75:4-10, and the prayer of Hannah, 1 Samuel 2:6–8; also Psalms 113:7 and following.)
