"Let him sit alone and keep silence, because he hath laid it upon him." — Lamentations 3:28 (ASV)

He sits alone ... —Better, Let him sit alone, and keep silence when He (Jehovah) has laid it (the yoke) upon him; and so in the next verses, Let him put his mouth ... Let him give his cheek.
