"And the priest shall look upon the plague, and shut up [that which hath] the plague seven days:" — Leviticus 13:50 (ASV)

And the priest shall look. —If upon examination the priest finds that the garment or vessel in question exhibits one of these symptoms, he must put it in quarantine for a week, as in the case of a human being. (See Leviticus 13:4.)
