SCRIPTURE

"And whosoever toucheth anything that was under him shall be unclean until the even: and he that beareth those things shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even." — Leviticus 15:10 (ASV)

And whoever touches anything that was under him. —This refers to the seat in the palanquin on which the passenger sits. If anyone touches it after the man with the discharge has sat on it, that person becomes unclean until sundown.

And he who bears any of those things. —Better, And he who bears them. This means whoever carries the palanquin, with the patient in it, from one place to another, becomes unclean. (See Leviticus 11:28, 40.)
