"that the land vomit not you out also, when ye defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you." — Leviticus 18:28 (ASV)

That the land spue not you out also. —Better, Lest the land vomit you out. By unnecessarily translating the same word differently—as vomiteth in Leviticus 18:25 and spue here—as the Authorised Version does, the striking connection between the two verses is somewhat weakened.
