"And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying," — Leviticus 22:26 (ASV)

And the Lord spake unto Moses. —Though beginning with a separate formula, and thus indicating that it is a distinct communication, the regulations here laid down about the age of the sacrificial animals are necessarily connected with the preceding statutes, and exhibit a logical sequence.
