"And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying," — Leviticus 23:33 (ASV)

And the Lord spoke to Moses. —Like the festivals of new year and the day of Atonement (Leviticus 23:26), the feast of Tabernacles, which is discussed in Leviticus 23:34-43, is introduced by this special formula, thus indicating that it was a separate communication.
